“THE CARPENTER AND CIGARETTE”

A completely unique homage to impending disclosure, the “BLUE COLLAR BIOLOGICAL MACHINES” series depicts entities that may be echoes of our future selves – or drones built from biological material – cast in the role of working-class heroes. This design frames them as carpenters: hands on saws, measuring squares, stacks of lumber around them, blue collars smeared with sawdust.

Layered through the pattern are packs of classic cigarettes — a nod to break times as much as to vice, grounding the scene in grit and realism. Surrounded by saw blades, shavings, and pines, the print feels equal parts surreal and familiar, turning a crisp button-down into a wearable paradox.
