A young man bolts from Boulder with his pockets stuffed with stolen bills and his conscious haunted by a ghost. Landing in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil - the hot stink of piss and sweet smell of sugarcane blend into a whole new paradigm of poor choices, the concrete mountains tilt forward apparently in on the joke, and nothing ever gets more steady.

There are bars, there are women, there are long nights that turn to days and become harder and harder to separate. Panic presents it self as visions, hangovers become supernatural, and the river seems to be steering it all.

It’s a dirty profane story, and I'll tell you now it doesn’t end where it should. But it’s all here: the run, the ruin, the laughter, the silence, the rock and the river.
